Disappointing Shaving Brush Experience: I received a shaving brush as a gift for my birthday back in August - the model is IVORY BEST BADGER SHAVING BRUSH 300. Since I started using it, it has been losing bristles at an alarming rate. I've had to stop using it because my face ends up covered in hairs when I try to apply shaving soap, which clogs the razor and could potentially block the drain. This product is really not up to par.

Fantastic service, and the product is solid, but the box was crammed with expanded polystyrene to take up space. Scrunched-up newspaper would’ve worked just fine and saved some cash. Really appreciate the heads-up! I've updated my rating to 5 stars.

On Friday, January 29, 2021, at 10:13 AM, we reached out to the Traditional Shaving Company to express our dissatisfaction with a product we had purchased back in November 2020 as a Christmas gift. In response to my initial review dated 21.03.21 on Trustpilot, they claimed we got in touch four months post-order. However, I can confirm through our email exchange that I actually contacted them just a little over two months after placing the order, not four. This just adds to the evidence that this company operates in a misleading and insincere manner.

The products are decent, but don’t rely solely on the reviews found on their website. I was asked to submit a review for a product I purchased, and I had already given it an honest, not-so-great rating. Since it was a pricier item, it makes sense they wouldn’t want to showcase that feedback.

Goods delivered fine, but I had a couple of questions and their replies were lacking. One of my inquiries came right after I made the purchase, and they didn’t get back to me until after the items were shipped. It seemed like they were only focused on processing orders and didn’t really care to assist with any questions or provide that extra bit of service.

Great company to shop with. I got the chrome brush and razor holder along with some Treet Platinum blades. I was quite pleased, the quality is top-notch. Everything showed up on schedule, plus they threw in a free pack of razor blades. Don't forget to take a look at their shaving guides too.

I've shopped with this company on two occasions and plan to keep it up. They offer a huge selection of high-quality shaving and men's grooming items, plus their delivery is super quick. I really appreciate that they take recycling and compostable packaging seriously.

I had the most frustrating experience with this company. I placed an order with express shipping, expecting it to arrive in 1-2 days, but it never showed up. When I reached out to customer support to find out what happened, they told me to wait 14 days! Seriously, that’s their idea of express shipping?

I then asked for the tracking number so I could see where my package was. Their response? Sorry, we don’t have a tracking number???? Can you believe that?

I called again to request a refund for the order that never came, and they told me to wait until Royal declares the parcel lost. I asked the obvious question: how can they know it’s lost if they don’t even have proof of postage?

I’m just done with this whole situation!

I got myself an Edwin Jagger DE86 razor from this shop, and it showed up super fast. They even tossed in some carmel/toffee sweets with the package, which was a nice touch.

When I checked out my new DE razor, I found that the screw-thread was broken, making it impossible to screw the head on right. I shot an email to the Traditional Shaving Company with a clear picture of the problem. Their support team got back to me quickly, saying I could send it back for inspection and they'd replace it, plus cover the return shipping.

Since I needed a new one in a hurry and didn’t want to deal with the post office, I ended up grabbing the same item from Fragrance Direct with next-day delivery. I’m a bit let down by Edwin Jagger's quality control this time, but honestly, I haven’t seen a better DE razor for the price.

I can’t complain about the speed of delivery, the customer service, or the prices at the Traditional Shaving Company. I had bought a Merkur Futur adjustable DE razor from them before, and I’m really pleased with that one.

I totally recommend the Traditional Shaving Company.

After a long back-and-forth with this company, they just wouldn’t budge on giving me a refund. So, I escalated the issue to PayPal. They looked into my complaint and sided with me, issuing the refund I requested. I definitely suggest using PayPal for online shopping; they really have your back against shady sellers who won’t return items sent back in good faith.
